Design exploratory teasing the pre-launch of Samsung's latest flagship device, the Galaxy Note8. The design direction sought to humanize the incredible technology that powers the device, by capturing the fun and expressiveness created by people doodling on the Note8 for the first time. All campaign visual elements would be captured with and designed on the Note8, using the S Pen.

Unboxed

Design System
After the 'Unboxed' event, artists and designers would be invited to doodle on the Note8 and submit their creations.

By capturing the moment of contact between human and technology, these works would form the graphic foundations of the launch campaign, along with celebrating the expansion of the way we express and communicate - beyond texting and emojis.

Animation
Doodles would be brought to life through expressive, cell-animated vignettes and would be used or shared across different media channels. Animation tests created by the talented content studio at R/GA.
